FASTERIS is a biotech company located in Geneva, Switzerland.
The company was founded in 2003 by Laurent Farinelli and Magne Osteras.

Fasteris provides custom services for industrial or academic research laboratories. We do our best to deliver highest quality results, as customer satisfaction is our main objective.

 We are active in the following fields of molecular biology:

• Next Generation Genomics
  Fasteris founders have been working since 1996 on Next-Generation DNA sequencing.
  Dr. Farinelli is a co-inventor, with Dr Pascal Mayer, of the DNA colonies, a massively parallel DNA amplification technology that is used on the illumina Genome Analyzer.
  Fasteris was the first service company to acquire a Genome Analyzer system from illumina.
  A large range of samples can be analyzed on this instrument, such as whole genome (re-sequencing, genotyping, de novo sequencing, ChIP-SEQ, methylation), whole transcriptome (digital gene expression profile, sequencing using a shotgun approach), small RNAs, etc..
• Capillary Sequencing Services
  FASTERIS is dedicated to offer the highest quality service in short time, with a personalized touch to guarantee success. Our team is there to help you resolve non-standard issues.
• Plasmid preparation
  Up to hundreds of milligrams of plasmid, also Endotoxin-Free.
• Genotyping
  The classical PCR amplification from your samples, followed by agarose gel analysis.
