The specifications are:

MiSeq offers 2×300 bp paired-end sequencing reads, a run mode most dominantly recommendable for analysis of PCR products.
MiSeq can also service 2x250 bp paired-end sequencing, which otherwise only can be serviced on NovaSeq 6000, SP-500, but with much larger scale of data output.
MiSeq can also service for 2x150 bp paired-end sequencing or anything down to 1x50 bp single reads. Also, customized run modes are well suitable to be provided on this system.
Miseq Nano Test Run are highly recommended for any of ready-to-run (RTR) services and/or in case that a guaranteed yield is needed for RTR sequencing projects. Without the successful result of test sequencing runs, Fasteris does not offer a guaranteed data output for any of RTR sequencing project. In case of failure, sequencing data will not be added free-or-charge. This limitation does not include the failure of run or other technical failure, which of course will be compensate in case guarantees are applicable as given by the supplier Illumina.
A test sequencing run is an extra service step needed to be ordered when aiming for min guaranteed data output and min guaranteed data yield for any sequencing of customer-provided ready-to-run (RTR) libraries.
All the calculations have been made with specifications and typical Fasteris results when using optimized loading conditions. Individual results may vary.
As the error rate increases above 250 bp read length. Illumina recommends max insert size of up to 500 bp with 2x 300 bp paired-end runs. Please note that the qualities of 2x 300 bp paired-reads bp are dropping towards the end and/or especially for the second, reverse read. The quality of the reads is also strictly depending on the specific type of insert and may strongly vary for sequencing of biased PCR products. On request, new software automatically can provide you with a single "matched" read output using the overlapping ends: a so-called "Stitched Read".
The output and yielded amount of pass filter clusters is strictly depending on the type of library and may strongly vary for sequencing of PCR products. In this regard, the amount of PhiX spike-in needed is also essential for the % of usable reads.

(1) In sequencing runs with libraries exhibiting high genomic diversity, the maximum sequencing output is targeted. Conversely, for libraries with low genomic diversity, the minimum sequencing output is targeted. Furthermore, an additional percentage of PhiX, up to 30%, is incorporated into the run. The final sequencing output of the flow cell, as well as for each individual library, may vary by up to 15% for libraries with high genomic diversity and by up to 20% for libraries with low genomic diversity.
